20 plus years, around 45 weddings per year, with a 10 hour day at each, and an average weight of more than 11lb in two bodies and two lenses shared between both shoulders started to get annoying.
My 9lb 5oz R8 feels like it means business and won’t blow away in the wind like some of yours ;-)
A quarter turn of the truss rod and raising the action by almost 1mm at the 12th fret made all the difference for me.
I do still think the nut slots should have been cut a bit deeper at the factory though.
