Exactly. I set my own guitars up anyway so know if it’s something I can just adjust or not.

This for me too.  I tend to know straight away if they're a good one for me these days.  Most aren't.

One of the best experiences I had recently was a blind test of 5 R8's.

With no vision I heard things and felt things that I had glossed over when playing regularly.

In my head I thought I could pick them out, but I only actually got 3/5 right. Really helped in sorting out the ones I liked best.
