Goes without saying I suppose but if looking for a used one do your research and ONLY buy from a reputable seller - Planet Oceans are amongst the most faked watches out there. Buyer beware !

Watches are nice but as someone with limited experience (I didn’t wear one for nearly 20 years) a lot of expensive watches are a bit garish for my liking. I like a simple classic look.

I feel the same way about guitars - so a nice simple but classic vintage SG or LP junior would get my vote. Maybe that way you’d have enough to get a nice watch as well.
