I think it's a very entertaining film. Alan Rickman is brilliant and I actually love the fact that Costner doesn't even attempt a British accent. It's in the spirit of films of the '40s and '50s when they didn't give a fuck about historical accuracy or who they cast so long as they put bums on cinema seats.
Of course it's ridiculous but it's a million times better than the more recent Robin Hood efforts with Russell Crowe and Taron Egerton.
They've been much more thoughtful in casting the reboot - Ridley and Boyega are great finds.
The big one for me - which film fans tend to overlook - is in Breakfast At Tiffany’s. Everyone goes on about how wonderful and iconic Audrey Hepburn is in her black dress, but rarely mention Mickey Rooney as her ‘hilarious’ Japanese neighbour.
Yes - that’s Mickey Rooney!
Just to throw a few more on the bonfire: anyone who wasn’t Schwarzenegger in Terminator: Genisys. The whole film just made me want to go back and watch the first two in order to remind myself that it was once really good.
C’mon, try harder. Sean Connery as an Egyptian immortal? Sean Connery as a Soviet nuclear submarine captain? Sean Connery as King Richard? Sir Sean as an Irish cop is at least plausible.
"Take these three items, some WD-40, a vise grip, and a roll of duct tape. Any man worth his salt can fix almost any problem with this stuff alone." - Walt Kowalski

You just shouldn't mess with the classics.
It would've been justifiable homicide.
It’s called “Big City Kitty”.
