Isn't a muff
Isn't stupidly expensive
Isn't fussy
Is versatile and usable
Sounds great

I have a couple of ideas but I'll share them once I've had a few suggestions.

That MXR one which I think is called a Classic BC108.
It's basically a Fuzz Face in a square box and a switchable buffer.

The first ones I thought of were the white atom and the carcosa so it's interesting they were the first suggestions.

  • Schaller fuzz from the 60's.
I've a few and they are all different. You can get one for £250 ish if you are patient....I've one for sale if you're interested.
If I had talent, I'd be talented.
    Red meat and functional mushrooms.
    Persistent and inconsistent guitar player.
A lefty, hence a fog of permanent frustration

Not enough guitars, pedals, and cricket bats.

The White Atom is superb, very versatile drive / fuzz pedal.

I recently sold mine having been tempted by the Black Moon which just exactly hits the spot for me.

Skreddy Lunar Module. For clarity I'm flogging one. Most flexible fuzz I've had though and sounds great into a bone clean amp.

    MI Audio Neo Fuzz.
Super versatile, prob bit harder to find. Roll back guitar volume for cleans retaining highs, then up for low gain overdrive and into fuzz. Its the 'one I'll never sell'.

Yup. Skreddy Hybrid Fuzz Driver would be a better shout... that’s a great pedal!

Haven't tried that but the screwdriver was similar and quite special.
