Carr Mercury 112 for me. Have had loads of amps from a vintage JC120 through to Lazy Js but really liked the Mercury. Sold it as a I was playing out more at the time and 8 Watts wasn’t quite enough. Now I’m pretty much playing at home it’s perfect - lovely warm cleans and a filthy drive too.

My last 3 "No 1" amps have been MusicMan, Rivera and Quilter. Each was a move to something lighter and the common thread isn't hard to spot: good Fendery cleans.

Blackface- style Fender or AC30 works for me.

I just bought a Laney IRT15. Suits me. 1 watt or 15 watts so good for home and pubs.
Does great clean and the gain goes on forever. And then you can step on the "even more gain" pre-boost if "loads" isn't enough !

At Home        : Rivera Jazz Suprema.

At Rehearsals : Rift Tweed 15 (5E3 in a TV Cabinet), or Rift Vibro 63.

At Gigs           :  Rift Vibro 63.

The Jazz Suprema I've owned for quite a few years now; beautiful clean warm tone and excellent Reverb.
The Rifts are both fine Amps. The Tweed 15 is significantly lighter to carry around than the Vibro 63. The Vibro 63 is a fantastic Amp - superb sound with Reverb and Tremolo to be dialled in as needed.

Fender 68 Vibrolux Reissue.   Brilliant cleans, great with pedals and brilliant projection for its size (love 2x10s). Reminds me of the second-hand 70s silver-face twins from the late 80's, but with much more sensible power and weight.

    Mesa single rectifier.
Used with a tubescreamer, boosting the amp gives amazing results on the Modern mode of channel 2.
    Cleans are quite good too.
Fantastic effects loop as well for a bit of chorus and delay. Being able to blend between dry and wet on the amp from 0%-90% is great.
I've had it for 14 years and it's been gigged a lot with no problems.
Sounds amazing with Mesa 4x12, plus i have the 2x12 cab for smaller gigs.
Another feature i like is the footswitchable "solo" volume boost. Very handy in gig situations. More amps should have this.
I also have EVH 5150 head and Marshall JCM 800, but i always go to the Mesa first. It just has this 3D wall of guitar sound to it that sounds massive, even at low volumes.

Used to be Soldano Decatone, had three of those. Last go-to amp before defecting to Fractal was the Bogner Shiva, had 4 of them...

Given that I have to lug it, HRD gets a good base sound with pedals.

I've hardly played through any real amps, but I've played through a lot of modellers, both standalone and software plugins, and from my experiences with them it would be Vox AC30 or Fender Twin.

Though as both of those amps have had many different variants over the years, I'm not sure about which version of each.

I’m using an 80s Music Man RD50, fitted with a Jensen Tornado Neo 100 watt 12” speaker. Great cleans (very ‘Blackface’ Fender) and good medium gain drive channel. It’s simple - and good sounding. Amps which offer ‘option paralysis’ really don’t appeal to me....

    (Couldn't resist!!)
Seriously, I'd buy Thorpy's Mesa Lonestar.
