Finally took the plunge on Friday and now I have gone from months of prevarication to months of wondering when it will arrive. Still, I should get it by the end of August which will make up for no holidays this year!

most of the people doing reviews on YouTube have been paid to do so. Wait until it's in the shops so you can try for yourself

I have a Yamaha THR10C at the moment. How does the Positive Grid Spark differ? Is it good enough to warrant selling the THR and buying the Spark?

I had a try of a couple of these 'home amps' that belong to my friend (Yamaha THR10X, Vox, Fender Mustang GT40, Mooer, Roland Cube and the Spark). Most are good, anyway, with my favourite being the Yamaha, and that prompted me to find and buy one. However, the Spark sounds big and really good and like a real amp. It even feels good under fingers, if you know what I mean and is strong on both clean and overdriven sounds and the effects are good. Then........you have all that wonderful functionality and useful learning stuff.

I didn't get one because of the wait and a THR10X came up and that covered exactly what I needed.

    It's an impressive unit

  • I've had the THR10c, Mustang GT40 and the Vox Adio. For me the Adio wins of those 3, whilst its not got the bottom end of the GT40, its much easier to dial in a good tone (and has better tone than the GT40 and THR), and the wide stereo is great for delay.

A mate has just got one of these Sparks, I need to try it. Covid stopping me at present! I wonder if the production and ordering will be a bit quicker than previous. The current offer is a decent one.
