Just finished building as Fuzz Dog Harmonic Percolator kit, not a complicated build but I wanted to try a HP style pedal for a while, and I was looking for something to try and build so after a google I landed on this one.

Nice fun pedal (if you like fuzzy stuff) and be quite subtle to a bit more mad.

Again I didn't want to get into trying to finish the case, so I just got a cheap badge off eBay and stuck it on!

bit of a theme going on...

How did you stick the badges on @markblack ? That's a cool way to make pedals look a bit more "pro" without much extra effort.

@english_bob just some araldite or supergule. They are only for home use, but as you say gives them something. I also like the ebay hunt for a suitable badge.

Yeah, I had quick eBay search for "enamel badges" and I can imagine that adding a day or two to the process of getting all the bits together for a new build.

Presumably just some hefty clippers or a junior hacksaw to get the pin off the back...

@english_bob yep. The backs come off with pliers - then i just dremel the weld off to get the badge flat.

@poopot that looks great, envious of people who can build without needing a kit and who can do a build as neat as that! (I won't be showing the inside of mine...it works, but it ain't pretty)

Thanks… it’s easy enough just to follow the circuit diagram tbh… not a massive parts count either!…

@poopot what do you use at the connecting wire? Is it pretty ridged stuff?

Yeah you need solid core… .8mm

    or…. In this case… paperclips :)

  • Lastest two.

First the Pink Fuzz - this is a Sunface circuit, with added EHX boost and a big muff tone stack. The sustain in this is insane, and is definitely like a more 60s big muff.

the Green box is a EQD delay and modulation with added one knob reverb.

Wow that's incredible! The internals too! It makes my recent kit build look a bit lame to say the least. :(
