I worked with a bloke who once put a picture of a mirror and a boomerang as the last slide in his presentation. When he got to the penultimate slide, he said, “So that’s our recommendations; are you going to take them up?” And the person in charge said, “thank you very much for this interesting proposal. We’ll look into it and come back to you” whereupon my colleague pressed page down and pointed at the mirror and boomerang and said,” ok. You’ll look into it and come back to us. Right.” It was quite an interesting moment.
