    @richardhomer what makes it even more ludicrous is I am skint, this is why I came here for help rather than hitting ‘buy now pay 2022’.

    Another moment where a wis/lol button was desperately needed. As I did chuckle out loud (whilst sat in the study and meant to be working) I’ll give you a well awarded lol.

    Beauty is in the eye of the beer holder, so if you like it, that’s all good. I will say that you could get a lot more than a production line guitar for that much money elsewhere

    'So bad, it's good' has never been more apt for me.
    I definitely prefer the original version however;

    Also, am I the only one who finds these faux filtertrons bothersome?

    Don’t think it’s fair to blame lockdown or a midlife crisis. How’s your eyesight? Perhaps you should head for Bernard Castle for a test?

    Kind of like a guitar hockey stick morph..........

  • I like it but it’s very (too?) expensive.

    The world would a very boring place if everyone liked the same thing.  AFAIK the reaction to the Flying V, Explorer and SG wasn’t exactly glowing when they were released...

    Agreed, they should be knocking these out for about £800.

    It’s awful. A Harley on the other hand is a thing of beauty, even if they’re only ridden by middle aged men with middle aged spread and beards (myself included)

    Yes, that was unfair on Harleys (I’ve always wanted one of those too). Unfortunately it’s too late to edit now, but I really should have said a Porsche (I just find those so repulsive I couldn’t bring myself to type it). :)

    I don't know what to say, really..
     so if you fancy a reissue of a guitar they never made in a colour they never used then it probably isn't too overpriced.

  • It’s another of those Fender past failures reissued, perhaps they think that they’ll have better luck second time around, ( like Gibson with the Flying V, Explorer and Firebird etc.). The bottom line is that if you can’t resist it buy it.
    Now now now, don’t you start bashing the Firebird!!! :)
    Not at all, I actually have one, (and a Flying V).

    I really like it, but why oh why did they have to put humbuckers on it?
