I don't know anything about him but it seems to be a different person and we should perhaps give the benefit of the doubt and not tar him with the same brush as Ian Elson Guitars

Google image puts the geezer with the Acoustic bass as a stock image  ... so clearly not one of the Elmore's Guitars customers in the period since 1997 when he/they were supposed to have started.

Following the breadcrumbs it seems to me like Ian Elson, Elmore Guitars and Gary Jackson (BAJ Guitars) are the same entity.
