These look really nice and at a price point that’s bound to intrigue enough to take a punt.
Candy apple green with a cream pearloid guard would be right up my street.

I've spent the whole afternoon thinking about an aztec gold one with WRHBs and a JM trem. Gah!!

  • Amazing to hear you use a more ecologically friendly finish than nitro!

    Loving the feedback, thanks guys!

Yeah it seems to be one of the most well received features,

What's great is that alongside the stock colours I can match to nearly any colour if asked thanks to how great my paint supplier is!

  • These look really great, love the shape. I’ve been keeping an eye on your Instagram as well and it looks fab, tempted by a pink one!

I might have missed it, but radius isn’t listed as a spec for the neck?

Thanks for spotting that! It's 12", I'll add it now to the website

Looks very nice. Where did the name Trent guitars come from? Terence Trent D'Arby?

Yes, he changed his name to Sananda Francesco Maitreya so he didn't need the Trent any more.

    Hah!

It's Elliott Trent, distantly from Italy, I'm told!

Guitar looks really nicely put together. JM trem would certainly be interesting  :)

Thank you! I really would love to try a JM trem if I could get any kidn of decent price or availability on Mastery, would a Hosco trem not cut it do we think? It's tricky in a world full of Masterys!

Staytrem bridge (Made in England) might also be worth a look.

I’m not gonna pretend to know whats going on under the surface of a JM trem, but Hosco could well be a good place to start researching.

Mastery does seem the direction lots take, however, I hear good things about Staytrem too.

Wilkinson do a JM vibrato tailpiece too.

Yeah Staytrem are tricky because they have patchy stock (like everyone at the moment!) I'll look into the Wilkinson and see if it could work. Thanks!

Ha ha, that's what I would go for, too (the gold + trem bit - I'd probably stick with P90s, maybe Kinmans).

It looks like I could just go with TOM, would match the 12" radius of my fretboards, unsure of how they interact with the vibrato - I guess the KC jag uses one, and the j mascis?

Descendant vibrato could be worth investigating also

I generally suggest the Fender AVRI unit but I’m guessing that’s not plan A for another builder!

I do like the idea of Mastery quality. It I’m a Staytrem man for bridges. Need to try a mastery at some point as well - they have too many fans not to be great
