Supro Delay MN3005 is a sleeper as is the Skreddy

Agree re Delay Llama and DM2
this is the truth and answers the question.

if you're going to spend more, just get a fulltone echoplex or an RE-150 or something.
    PSA:  Supro for £111.75 here:

£ seems to be up a bit against the US dollar at the moment. Noticed the latest K-Line Springfield that Coda got was £100 cheaper than the last batch…

So, 2 things happened, 1) the Maxon AD999 arrived and wow! This is a great pedal, warm articulate and everything I had thought it would be and had in my head.
    2) I managed to get ripped off on the boss DM2W. I managed to get my money back, but don't trust anyone called William Sneddon from Scotland

The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

OK: I use relatively few effects, but always wanted to get a delay pedal to work for me, and so tried the Aqua Puss, Analogman ARD20, Keeley Recino, Strymon TimeLine, Boss DM2-W, and Guru EchoSex.  I found that, despite each one sounding excellent in their own right, they all somehow stood in the way of my core sound when playing in a band context.
And then I bought a Dawner Prince Boonar...etc., etc., etc.

So: noise. Is it inevitable with analogue delay? I've only been around a couple - of varying price - and both had background hiss and noise on the repeats.
