Actually no… this is not similar at all. Thos os about many people contributing in real time, no one is really in real control. A lot is about sharing memories and how songs have affected you

Good idea. Maybe have a poll to decide which album(s) to listen to? Edit: NVM, just seen we’re doing Woodface.

I'm in!

Fine with first being classic album of some kind, but I think something like this is a great way to share new music as well, outside our comfort zones. I know nothing of jazz, but perhaps this would help me to appreciate it more.

@ThePrettyDamned Not a bad idea that- even a jazz playlist rather than an album might be good.

I've been missing these as Wednesday is the Rehearsal night, when I'm not working night shifts but its a great idea. I'm listening to these albums a day or so late, however its still cool to discover this music.

Do you take suggestions?

No because it would just become a "What's your favourite album thread". You'd have to host it. I suppose that means you just have to be there and cue the second half. Hosting is not particularly onerous. It's more a chance to listen to something that might not be on your musical radar and introduces you to some new music or maybe a chance to critique an album you know and haven't listened to in a while. I use the radio clock signal (don't know if the others do) so we all listen at the same time. Usually the same protagonists each week, prior appointments notwithstanding. It's good fun and banter and all pretty friendly.
