^ I love that Kathy Wilson EP.  I think it's better than any of their full length albums.

    Slayers Show No Mercy,

Production isn't great but it has some cracking tunes, big Iron Maiden influence on this album, check out The Final Command and Crionics in particular.

    Operation Mindcrime - Queensryche

    This is the correct answer.
I've double checked and can confirm that this is definitely correct.

  •  A lot of my favourite albums mentioned. Something that maybe a little under the radar if you are looking for 'live' and 'Dio' is the Deluxe Edition of the Dream Evil album. It includes the Dio set from Donington in 1987 which I was fortunate enough to be at.  It's Craig Goldy rather than Vivian Campbell but it's still excellent .. Dio on fine form with a jumble of Sabbath and Rainbow tracks along with Dio's own classics.  It's available on Spotify and presumably elsewhere.

    Ace Of Spades

A finer trio you'd be hard-pressed to find.

No Sleep 'til Hammersmith as well.

This evening I listened to Licence to Kill by Malice, after which Spotify took me into a pretty decent playlist - Icon, Madam X, The Rods, Hurricane, Lillian Axe, Sword, Fifth Angel, Shok Paris, Stone Fury, Vicious Rumors.... I love Spotify.

Yeah, it's a really good album.  I've got it on vinyl, not CD... in fact everything I've posted in this thread is stuff I bought on vinyl, before I started buying CDs.  Some of them I did also buy on CD, years later.

    Talking of the Rods

This is the Rods but in 1978 and with Joey DeMaio on bass.
