Hmmm? Wonder what I was confusing that with then... was sure I'd seen something about it coming with a variety of different radius inserts... maybe that was a Thalia instead ???

G7 bends to your radii. They do one of the same sort of design as the Elliott. Maybe that?

@Benm39 ; don't know about radius but they do come nut-width specific, or they do for banjos and I can't see why it should be different for guitars.

Having relooked, it was the Thalia capos which come with about 14 different fretpads to match different neck radii...

@brucegill , yup I've a G7 (v2 I think) which fits pretty much whatever it's on,  mostly...

Shubb for me. Have a G7 too, but always seem to reach for the shubb. I find the shubbs also double up as great fidget toys...

you can do that with pretty much any capo, not just a kayser,  been doing (and lauding) it for donkeys   

get two capos and you can have fun and games all up and down the f/board

I did not know any of these 'tricks.' The only 'trick' of any sort with a capo is to capo up the neck and then strum below the capo on the tightened strings and it sounds like an Oriental type stringed instrument such as those used in Japan,China or the Far East.

i  use a £5.88 wood effect cheapie from Amazon .It works great  and holds my pick .it works and I know where my pick is at last  .

Where did you get this? I was going to order one from America, but the shipping was about £20 (on top of an already expensive item).

Yep, I got it from the USA store...it was pricey, but having played with it for an hour or two it is now my go to capo.

It's quite stiff but smooth to adjust & clamps reliably with no bending strings sharp, used on my Brook Teign & a Taylor 214. I also have a shubb & a G7th, both good capos but eclipsed by this one.

I know it was very expensive but I could afford it & it has brought me pleasure...life's too short to deny yourself such things IMHO

Well my daughter is in NYC at the minute and I’ve asked her, if she comes across a guitar shop, to get me one. If not, you may have just inspired me to just go for it!

I always thought about getting a sliver / red   one,  but couldt justify the £70 +   -  but If I added up the cost of all my capos  its nearer £100
