Gutted for Oscar but happy for Charles. I know it’s not fully representative but it’s lovely to have some racing where someone other than Max has a chance

This should be an interesting race - incodents aside, it’s probably a first corner overtake or a pitstop overcut to shuffle things at the front.

The amount of parking up at Rascasse was quite ridiculous, but I can only assume that this was discussed in the drivers briefing and they all agreed they would be doing this, so drivers on a quick lap didn’t get the shock of their lives.

Perez looks like he’s getting dug in for his mid-season slump.  He’s lucky that DR is still not returned to form, otherwise there would be noises about a mid-season swap.

Liam Lawson was quite visible in the pit garage this weekend…

If we are coming into an era where RB need good points from both cars, the massive amount of cash Perez brings isn’t going to cut it anymore. Of course Red Bull like the money but they don’t need it

That's the issue isn't it, Red Bull are mostly bothered about the constructors title not the drivers, if Perez isn't getting points (which is unlikely today), then they come under threat from teams with 2 decent drivers (basically all of their closest competitors!). So they need to think long and hard really, I'd switch him for Tsunoda at the mo, he's done enough whilst they think about it. 

Max will win the drivers this season, I have no doubts, but Red Bull will be struggling to secure the constructors.

I was just thinking I had a feeling. Perez might stack it on lap but blimey…!!

To be fair to Perez, I don't think he was to blame there at all - K Mag should have backed out of that. Horrific weekend all round for Haas!

KM should def have backed out but I wonder if it’s normal to cut that close to the right hand barrier on lap 1 as Perez did? 

For a quali lap you obviously would be when there’s potentially someone there next to your back end i wonder if slightly more caution from Perez would have been a good idea

Could be the pit crews that decide this one ultimately. Any minor cock-ups from the team will be massively costly for any of the front 4. No pressure!

Always has been, but especially so these days with the cars being so wide and heavy.
