I was a feral kid for a few months some time in the 80s. My daughter wasn't - she's a natural born people pleaser. My son was feral for 10 years or so, but then he decided to grow up.

We were all no doubt written off by some tut, tutting paragon of virtue. Life eh...

Ok. Fair point.  However, Ewal was referring to me being mental for starting the thread - ie suggesting I should not be moaning about antisocial behaviour.

Indeed, I did not challenge the yoofs at the time, so I am also part of the problem in letting them get away with it.  However, in my defence, the consequences of objecting on an internet forum and objecting directly to the offender are potentially significantly different.  The former might get me called a few names, the latter might get me in a mortuary, so I'll allow myself a little leeway on my hypocrisy.
