What does your gigging amp weigh?

...Or jamming / rehearsal amp if you don't gig?

My Yamaha JX40 weighs about 14.5kg and the shape is not awkward to carry.

Too much. I went back to a full-size head after Covid pretty much stopped my gigging days. Just taking it for a service last week was a pain in the arse. It sounds so much better than the 20w equivalent though, so gotta suck it up for the authentic bedroom tonez \m/

Never have done, but was having a clear out last week and found a small fold up sack truck, so that now that lives with the Orange cab. Spent my life lugging 4x12’s about, but I’m a little fella and nearly sixty, so time to use a little help

AC15 which the Internet says is about 22kg. So it's not too heavy really. I don't I'd like anything heavier for now, unless my musical fortunes change dramatically and I suddenly have roadies.

Be careful what you wish for Stu! I don't know your genre or venues but that combo is capable of serious sound levels, despite the name it will chuck out 100W if really pushed.
    Maybe a head+cab alternative?

    Dave.
