If the (in)famous Essex Recording Studios guy actually plays guitar, I bet he plays a Paoletti.

I can't help about the shape I'm in, I can't sing I ain't pretty and my legs are thin

But don't ask me what I think of you, I might not give the answer that you want me to

What a joke. Why do they feel the need to associate themselves with this asshole? Their guitars are perfectly fine on their own.

    Enjoy!
I'm pretty sure that was a classy gag from Stef rather than a serious request to see the guitar!

Probably, it's such a lovely guitar though, who wouldn't want to see it. open_mouth

Interesting brand.  I do like some of their guitars, e.g.

But others look pretty horrific, ... to me anyway.

At least they're doing something a bit different though.

Thing for me is that I’m half Italian, my Italian family is in Bologna, I’m also a big Dave Kilminster/Roger Waters fan and so now that Dave is playing Paoletti’s I really want to like them.
    But I’d rather have a Suhr …

I love the idea that they're made of chestnut wood from old wine barrels, I quite like the brass hardware, but whether or not the end result is actually appealing... I don't know.  They seem to generally be heavyweights too, which doesn't appeal.

I’m not sure I buy the chestnut wine barrel story, how do you get a strat body out of these?

Of course you could glue up a number of staves, but it wouldn’t look like this 1 piece body

Good point, perhaps it's just the same type of wood they use for wine barrels.  Which is considerably less interesting.

Good point - Maybe it is fine to use such blanks for a 4x12" Cabernet - But not a guitar body unless of course you want a Wine Red stained finish, that is bold and sturdy, with satisfying dark fruit flavors

Very good. He’s from Italy though, so it’s more a case of: you chianti always get what you want.
