Meat-and-two-veg pizza?  With a cup of tea?
Is that tea from the UK, or that foreign stuff imported from overseas? Ah…….
No no they'd have Yorkshire tea, from Yorkshire

I live in a conservation area (bournville village trust, itself a sort of socialist endeavour), but in a city which is otherwise a dump, does that allow me to prefer socialism or am I still living a lie? I do like going to farm shops and nice food, but I drive 2012 Fiat Panda to visit such shops so does that still mean i'm a hyprocrite for thinking I'm a raging letfy?
    You tell me  =)
Well i don't think it does, no. Not unless the meaning of socialism has changed recently
Please note my communication is not very good, so please be patient with me

    So, let's be clear here...

    1.  Jesus was a brown guy.
    2.  St. George was a brown guy.
    3.  Both have somehow become symbols for nutters who think there are too many brown people in the country.

    Apparently we have also lost...

    1.  Meat and two veg.
    2.  Tea.
    3.  Our national identity, whatever that means.

It's a distinct possibility some of these people are just thick, right?
Statistically almost 50% of them will have below average intelligence
That only holds if you assume they are all people, and they didn't shave some chimps to make up the numbers.
You are the dreamer, and the dream...

I think said chimps would be just as angry, but a lot smarter.

Why do people loathe any celebration of Englishness?

A quick Google search of 'British War Crimes' might help answer that one
You could substitute 'British' with any nationality.

You could - but apart from the USA, there's not many nationality claiming they are actually superior due to an accident of birth and geography.
I am sure we could point to other national identities that are defined by superiority due to birth and geography, you only need look at some of the conflicts occurring as we speak.

But that is missing the point. How can you group an entire nation of diverse individuals together and say 'they' all think this or they all think that?  Very strange way of seeing the world. People are people, good and bad.

I had a pizza with Lancashire cheese on it and Henderson's Relish. eaten with a knife and fork made in Sheffield.
Whilst wearing an England flag as a skirt. And Union Jack socks.

    And drinking Vimto

Pineapple on pizza is abhorrent, but I respect your right to make appalling choices. ;)
At least you didnt include the full english biryani in that appraisal..

But Let me try and convince (school) both you and young fretmeister...

Hawaiian/ham and pineapple - i get it, too mild a taste and this is the pair that people associate with pineapple on pizza. Ham and base sauce doesnt really work neither does the garlic..

You may be not old enough to remember pineapple and cheese on sticks at parties in the 70s, but the combo works like a pair of flares from that era. Not fashionable today but still cool AF....
Now, for the magic..., add in that crisp, salty, spicy, oily pepperoni and you get a true eye opener of pizza excellence that wallops all senses of the tastebuds in perfect harmony.
    :)
    Dont worry, be silly.

Pineapple is hideous in any form. Missus munckee likes a pizza with ham, pineapple and mushrooms.

Makes me sad and angry at the same time.
