    This week it's been all about these two, with the GSGT freshly restrung and in Eb, and the Boden in standard tuning;

    Eastwood Sidejack DLX 20th Anniversary LTD Edition. One of only 160 made, and one of the 20 made in black.
    Has recreations of the original Mosrite pickups made especially by Eastwood, superb term (Bigsby-a-like) and one of the best necks I’ve ever had my hands on. Wide like a Wizzard, but chunkier.  It sits perfectly in my hand, and is utterly addictive.

    That guitar is seriously cool.

    Once I'd watched a film with Mrs O last night I headed up to my den and, as frequently happens, my hand reached for this.

     I'm sure I've seen it before, but that is a thing of beauty which I would happily put in my collection :)

    I had been wondering about getting a chrome scratchplate for something - where did you pick that one up from ?

    That's an eye-watering price, but I'm sure I'll get one eventually ;)

    ^^ It is, but in its' defence it's a top quality piece of kit.  I was splashing out on a refin, Fender locking tuners etc at the time so didn't want to spoil the ship for a ha'porth of tar.  I wanted a Mascis vibe without it being an obvious copy.

    This arrived today. I’ve bought and sold a lot of Strats over the years; not only is this my favourite colour, it has a lovely skinny neck & really punchy pickups. It might finally be the one I’ve been searching for!

    @Revolutions bloody hell, now I'm going to have to spend hours trying to read what's in your record collection.

    Gig tomorrow, so just putting these through their paces as the AC50 has decided to start making peculiar noises...Damn it, I love that amp. But hey, The Mercury V sounds pretty awesome.

    For band practice today I plugged this into that and into my Ceriatone 2202 (JCM800 clone) combo.

    USA std 88 tele, bought from here last year. Through axe i/o amplitube max and amp out into FSR v30 eqiupped blues junior. Just pissing about at home. Recently set up with local, neck shim, on the jig, frets levelled and low action. Not played for a while. Like butter and all that.

    Dont worry, be silly.
