    @Neil - indeed :)

    They should put a blue plaque up.

    Surrey is the home to the great rock triumvirate: Kebabkid.  :)

    :)
    Roland said: Scales are primarily a tool for categorising knowledge, not a rule for what can or cannot be played.
    Supportact said: [my style is] probably more an accumulation of limitations and bad habits than a 'style'.

    My best mate, Andy, lived near him, and knew him, when he lived in London..
     so if you fancy a reissue of a guitar they never made in a colour they never used then it probably isn't too overpriced.

    If ever one needs proof that practice really can make a difference, Jan is a great example. The difference between his ZM days and 'Beyond the Common Ground' is amazing.

    What a great album BTCG is actually.

    The Cure lived over that way (not all in the same house, that would be silly!) for a long time.

    That would make for a fucking brilliant sitcom, though!

    My Dad taught Mark Manning AKA Zodiac Mindwarp.
    He (Mr Mindwarp) was crap at Geography apparently.
    Shot through the heart, and you’re to blame, you give love a bad name. Not to mention archery tuition.

  • Vivian Campbell used to live in The Maze (same place as where the prison used to be), which is just a mile down the road from me.  That's it really :(  Gary Moore was East Belfast too, but Vivian is closer.  I don't know of any other famous Northern Irish guitarists....

    This is a very tenuous link but . . . . my ex wife used to work at the Vegetarian Restaurant that was formerly owned by the wife of Barclay James Harvest's guitarist Mr John Lees . . The restaurant was in Delph Saddleworth . . . I never met John Lees or his wife for that matter but I enjoyed the Vegetable Curry on many occasions as Shirley would often bring home whatever hadnt sold as all the food was freshly prepared each day . . . Many happy memories of that time :-) the curry wasnt bad either . . . . Also, and fairly recently ( 18 months to 2 years back I suppose )  I sold my Blackstar Artisan 30 Combo to Marshall Gill of New Model Army. Marshall was in a couple of bands other than New Model Army and is a great guitarist plus he is a cracking bloke and a really pleasant chap to talk guitars and stuff with, again living somewhere in Saddleworth  . . . Marshall now endorses Blackstar I think :-)
    Id just like to point out that, despite all the video and DNA evidence, it genuinely wasn't me, your Honour  !
