I can comment - because I'd noticed something was amiss before seeing this post!

The hywelg userID was banned due to a false positive based on an IP addy (a mobile network IP) used by our well-known scammer.  It was an automated system action rather than a modmin action which is why there was no message to @HywelG @HywelHarris.

So, with genuine human apologies to HywelG, I've unbanned your original ID and will delete the new userID as soon as you say so.

There's always a risk, but it's pretty small.

If you happen to be particularly unlucky and have the same problem again, email me at ttony@thefb.co.uk (incl your userID) and I'll get it sorted.

Now, just PM me with a copy of your passport, driving licence, birth certificate and bank details so that I can verify that you're not a well known architectural photographer ...

OK guys and gals,

How about Saturday the 30th May.?

Let me know, what you will be bringing amp wise, indeed pedals also if you're happy for others to demo them and I'll update in post 2 above. I'll try and sort out a temporary pedal board so we can add stuff in easily (though I'm not sure how easy it will be to sort out different supply voltages).

I'll also try and sort out a long speaker jack-jack cable so we can try amps thorugh different cabs without having to move things around too much.

OK, possible conflict, though I think the focus of the Walsall event will likely be in conflict with a bunch of hacks trying out different amps.  @digitalscream ; @paulmapp8306 is 30th a problem for you chaps?

@Lodious @Adam_MD and @John_A are OK for the 30th.

Will be a bit of "Ill have to see on the day/the day before" as plans with the wifes work changes.  May be only part of the day - or all of it depending on her shifts.

As for gear,  If I make it I can bring the AFX2 (again with Zilla cab) - but dont have any FRFR set up unfortunately.   I can also bring the Fender Machete is anyones interested.

Guitar wise - whatever people want to try.  I can bring a couple from:

PRS CU22 with Mules

PRS CE with P90s

Tele with Broadcaster PUs

Select Strat

Suhr Modern

Most are readily available so maybe not of interest.  If no one has any preference it will be the strat and the Suhr.

I was just getting involved, as reports of your somewhat early demise seemed exaggerated, thankfully.  Just doing my bit to show solidarity & to help  

I have been keeping an eye on this thread as I quite fancy the idea, so you can count me as interested, but it depends a bit on how things are at the time.  So I will keep that as 'interested' for now, and talk further closer to the time, if that's OK ?

I fancy coming along for a bit if possible - don't have an amp, but have an AxefxII, or can bring a Atomic CLR FRFR to use with paulmapps AxefxII. Is there a rough time/date for this. Is it daytime or evening?
