Series 2 was the weakest IMHO.  AG joined as prospective mayor Tommy Carcetti in the 3rd, which is when the cast & storyline went into overdrive.

Just watched S6 ep 2 , OMG you'll never guess ..........

Seriously it was a pretty good episode , with a few big surprises .

The cockney drunk slagging off Cersei was funny ,

Ramsay Bolton just gets worse , I laughed my arse off last week , when he gushed about his bit on the side, after her demise , like she was the love of his life , and then said not to bury her , " feed her to the dogs , you don't waste good meat",......... 'kin priceless. >:D<

Them dogs won't be hungry after this weeks episode. :-O

Dissapointed by the post pub bit though.  Thought the injury would be, em, elsewhere.

Would have been much funnier.

All seems pretty slow so far.  Ten mins max per character, and all that happens seems fairly pedestrian and predictable.

Are you onto series 4 of Vikings yet?  Having a longer series hasn't done it any favours in my opinion.

Agreed, with a dozen or so storylines it needs better (ie less) jumps per episode (or an hour and a half, or more)

I found the jumps a bit jarring last week but it felt a bit better this time. Possibly there were slightly fewer, I'm not sure. Either way I agree I'd rather an episode focus on 3 or 4 groups in an hour rather than 6+

Hbut I guess no-one really wants a series without half the major characters.  To be honest, they were my least favourite of the books

George Pirate Martin did split the books into two stories when things diverge so far.   Apparently his original plan was to have a 10-15 year jump so you re-joined the child characters for their adult story lines - but then he wrote the in-between stories anyway.

I guess no one really wants a full series with only half the main characters - would be a risky move for a TV show, and in fairness, they were my least favourite books

They already cut out the bran and ironborn stories last season for time. He looks so much older this season.

ITs early days, but i get an impression of too many plot lines going on at once, too much flitting around. As if they are rushing to address plot lines from S5.

The Jon Snow thing was predictable in terms of pace etc. good though.

Enjoyed this one again, there does seem to be a lot going on in terms of plot lines and characters which wouldn't have been done if it was written directly for tv. But it works well enough.

The two guys getting wall smashed were great, looking forward to then next episode, I think it's going to speed up/come to a head towards the end of the season, wonder if we'll get to see the White Walkers again soon?
