@johnonguitar - Well, if you wanted to sell the PT Pro, assuming its the 80cm wide jobby, I'm on the lookout.....
Yeah that's the one. With soft case. To be fair it's really clean. It has holes drilled for the PP2 size power supply and comes with the attachments. Still has the box

Haven't put it up in the classifieds get but took the pics yesterday.

@Digital_Igloo was your SM57 bug present in firmware 1.01.02 by any chance?

Just spent another 2 hours with the helix and that would explain a lot..

The MIDI board for my looper controller is now working.

Just need to house the bits and make up a cable to connect the footswitch to the braaaaaaains.

I don't think it was fixed until about 1.05

I'm getting closer and closer to being able to not use any external pedals.

But the chances of Line 6 doing a model of a Morley Fuzz Power Wah are probably a bit slim.

But that stacked into the triangle fuzz is a proper Cliff Burton bass wah sound.

Can't you fudge the sound with a wah (or two) and a fuzz (or two) and some EQ?

    I shall keep experimenting certainly.

That's at least half the fun!

I'm not even going to try the onboard IR's. I hope that's not disrespectful to any of you who are enjoying them but everything I hear seems to make it a no brainier to use some third party ones

I don't think it's disrespectful at all, but I did an A/B vs the Ownhammer free stuff and they both sounded fine, but I did make sure that the settings were as similar as possible - the OH ones are much, much louder which always makes things sound better.

I would suggest giving the inbuilts a go; I won't be offended if you still prefer 3rd party.

In that demo, though, the IRs sound really fizzy to me. I'm only on laptop speakers here though so I'll give it a proper listen later.

I probably will at some point... And to be honest I probably won't get into the modelling side much... Especially the cab side... In the first month or so.

Paul Glover, the guy in the video, is definitely not my sort of player. So when a cab IR can actually make his clean sound not hurt my ears anymore it makes me think I'll sound great with it! :')

Great to me that is, I'm sure Paul sounds great to him!

    Nailed it.

Compression, then fuzz, then wah, then more fuzz then the Mesa 400 model. Exp toe switch turns on 1 of the fuzz and the wah at the same time.

It was close with the GK amp, but the slightly gritty farty lows of the 400 was the key. If only I'd works that out before maxing out the DSP with everything else!

(It's not like I didn't know Burton used the 400+ for years.... I'm a tool.)

I have had an idea for a patch that would be very useful for a writing project but my brain is refusing to work out how to do it.

Basically I would like to play in a note, and have that repeated exactly three times at the same volume.

Three 0% feedback delays in series all with the same delay time (probably tap tempo in practice)?

I essentially want to be able to create four-part harmonies where each part is a semibreve and they shift in turn. Almost like a round, but single notes.

Possibly if I could explain it better I'd be able to work out how to do it!

Why not 3 single shot delays all with different times
