Time for a quick update as we have two of these beauties coming through and will be availabl to choose and specify colour options on - we were thinking of going with a nitro finish on these:
Price will be between £1899-£1999 depending on spec/finish
Choice of black or torty plate

    Feline Lion Cub DC#9
Loaded with Sperzel locking tuners and a Graphtech resomax bridge
    Earvana Nut
    Dunlop 6000 frets
    Monty's Pickups P90
CTS pots and Jensen PIO capacitor
Flush mount/recessed straplock fitting on rear - so you have a choice of 2 mounting points and the back one keeps the strap close to the body to minimise guitar leaning forward

    Feline Lion Cub DC#10
Loaded with Sperzel non locking tuners and a Gotoh 510bridge
    Earvana Nut
    Dunlop 6000 frets
    Monty's Pickups P90
CTS pots and Jensen PIO capacitor
Flush mount/recessed straplock fitting on rear - so you have a choice of 2 mounting points and the back one keeps the strap close to the body to minimise guitar leaning forward

Many guitars have a re-sale value. Some you'll never want to sell.
Stockist of: Earvana & Graphtech nuts, Faber Tonepros & Gotoh hardware, Fatcat bridges. Highwood Saddles.

    Thanks

What do you think for pickguard - a single ply black or a 3 ply B/W/B?

For a sort of LP Special look?  I can see where you're coming from, but I wonder if it might look a bit odd in the Junior pickguard shape.

Definitely multi-ply rather than single though, I think.

Some quick update shots before I do do some proper promo shots - these just off my phone.
The @lamf68 nitro finishes have certainly come up well

The Pelham blue I gave a 5 ply pickguard in the end and reflector knobs too

The TV yellow I gave bell knobs and a bakelite pickguard

Looking good!  Jonathan, do you have any personal preference between the different bridges, Gotoh, Resomax, TonePros etc?  Or are they much of a muchness?

I like them all for different reasons . the resomax sounds great but i really like the Gotoh for ease of stringing and how well everything locks down. The Schaller Signum is very nice too...very comfy.

So  time for some proper shots of these latest two - here is DC9

DC 9 in Pelham blue has the Gotoh 510UB bridge, a Monty's '54 P90, a five ply pickguard, CTS pots and a Jensen cap

At the other end of the Dunlop 600 fretted12" rosewood fingerboard mated to a 3 piece quartersawn mahogany neck you have an Earvana nut and some rock solid non locking Sperzel tuners

We have made these two with two straplock mounting points  - the normal strapbutton the horn and a recessed (flush) attachment , that allows you to fit a strap to a rear mounting point and have the guitar stay close to your body and not tip forward.
