That wasn't great from Wales. Fair play to Italy though. The try was a forward pass, even if well worked afterwards. Man of the match was spot on. 

Win on the board though :-)

Clear forward pass for Italian try, and ref slowed game up drastically. Italy played well, but lay on top of tackled player every time and was not penalised once for it. Wales played ok, but too many players standing still taking the ball. Lot of work before Ireland game.

do the internationals not have the same (odd) rule as premiership/HC  ?   where its the direction of the hands when making the pass, not the actual flight of the ball........... Ive watched and watched re-runs  on Sky and BT where they go over and over a clear forward movement of the ball where I (like many) use the mower lines to act as a guide -  but the decision is based on the "angle" of the passing hand(s)

If so the Italian pass falls into this category

Ball can go forward even passing correct due to motion, but the hands must pass back, the Italians hands were pushing ball forward. Clear forward pass. Welsh always have problems with Irish refs, Like the penalty for Italian 10 running into paul James !

god, I wish we could come up with a better national anthem for sporting events. God save the queen is just a toneless dirge. Even the Irish national anthem is better.

Not sure ... adding lots of new talent wishing to impress who are not hamstrung by past failures could upset the French. Knock them out of their rhythm, score some points and the crowd will be on their backs and they seem to fold.

Didn't fold this time. French could have the belief to play to their strengths now, in which case, Wales could struggle.
