He's the bloke who's a qualified doctor, isn't he?

He doesn't look anything like Gary Barlow....
I've gigged with the session singer in the news clip below loads of times over the years. I was quite surprised to see his face when I was browsing the BBC news site this lunchtime.

Albert Lee did a clinic at GIT when I was there, then invited all of us back stage at the Bill Wyman and the rhythm kings show later that night. I was the only student who went!

I am not really hung up on the whole famous/musicans thing, Peoples people right? I've met several though....
Robbie Williams when he played Glasto - was that 98? he was off his t*ts. GAK I'd say - but was still amusing and his GF - one of them All Saints was mega attractive
That Glasto I also went back stage and on the tour bus with a band called 'Lo fidelity all stars'. They were signed to SKINT in the 90's and made an incredible album called 'how to operate with a blown mind'. They were space cadets and it was a messy night. They had the SH*TEST touring bus/van but it was full of Tony Montana style piles of blow.
I also met Joe Strummer, Bernard Summer, Johnny Mar at the same GLASTO at a party.
I met the DJ John Carter and his then wife and radio 1 DJ Sara Cox at Sankey Soaps in Manchester. Lovely the pair of em' totally fun and got well involved
I ve chatted to John Squire loads of times. My cousin Sorrell used to see him. Squire was amazing. Very quite and humble but also hugely intresting and very very funny.
Maxi Jazz from faithless - nutty - just continually tried it on with the girl I was with a the time.
I met Finley Quay and his gutarist - remember he was holding an enormous slab of Ganja and held it over a candld
I saw Paul McCartney in Habitat in Chester a couple of days a go ...... I am sure there is more....
Nile Rodgers - at the London Acoustic guitar show in 2015.
Rob Harris - London Bass Guitar Show 2014
I spent a week building guitars alongside Tim Lever, formerly keyboardist with Dead Or Alive.
That's about it. But loads of well known bassists like Lee Sklar, Billy Sheehan, Adam Nolly Getgood, Dave Swift, Doug Wimbish, John Taylor, Cass Lewis, Victor Wooten, Guy Pratt, Herbie Flowers, Neil Murray, Andy Cichon (plays for Billy Joel), Yolanda Charles...for reasons...and one day I was late for work and encountered Mark King on the Jubilee Line. He has an apartment in Borough Market and was on his way to rehearse for that infamous Jack Bruce tribute concert where Ginger threw his toys out of the pram during Sunshine Of Your Love.
