Sounds like you lot had a blast!

I really, REALLY, want to see this project brought to a conclusion ... Been watching it for a long, long time.

And it all looks ready to go now.  Good shape, excellent sound (Ash knows his stuff), nice feel, it should be a winner.

Get on with it Mr DD.

It was almost perfect, but it was missing a vital element.

It might sound weird, but something along the lines of some kind of primate making mad Vai like squeals would have made the evening complete :D

Or an amp that's missing a "0" in its output rating ... that was *never* 20W !!  More like 200W.

    And there are pics ...

    Some guys, some gears ...

    image

jaygee almost hiding on the left, MattG, Phil_aka_Pip, Rik (not Erik) and ESBlonde.  All looking for "the tone".

Then this other bloke turned up, and we all left.

Looks like sales of Yamaha THR10s will spike upwards again ... always happens after a forum meetup!

Mr MQ brought a red guitar (and a very loud amp)

Mike_l with one of his gurrrlls ...

ESBlonde, Phil_aka_Pip and MQ.  Note the classic gear ...

Yes, they did eat all the cakes.

    (well, someone did).

Mike_l trying to hide behind the post, jaygtr, Phil and MattG.

Big thanks (again) to Phil for sorting out the venue with the Magpie, which was a pretty good venue IMHO.

We had half of the pub for ourselves, with a "stage" area at one end, and a separate demo / look & touch area at the other end of the room.  Plenty of space for eating and drinking too, and plenty of eats and drinks :)

We might try to do something a little more organised next time, perhaps work on some tracks to play in advance.

Oh yes, I think we should do it again!!

nice pics, though if you could make the next east Anglian meet up somewhat further west, say in Devon, that'd be peachy.

I'm not locked in here with you, you are locked in here with me.

A really good afternoon - lots of different styles of music brought together in the jams... not heard Velvet Underground at a jam before.

I wish I'd been able to hear ESBlonde's won't get fooled again intro using the pog :)

Some really great kit - TTony's wudtone tele and Nathan Shepherd

tanks for organising it Phil :)
A sig-nat-eur? What am I meant to use this for ffs?! Is this thing recording?
