... with an almost en-suite just off to the left
I'm amassing a whole load of new website links, interest groups, and a long reading list.
I'll add that one.

It was on alterations, not repairs btw.

I'd have myself a PROPPA music studio built into that lot
There must be a lot of land.
Have a good long proper look into classic car storage, the long term top end investment stuff.
I used to deliver stuff to quiet, hidden away properties like that in my truck and the amount of old chicken sheds that had been converted into classic car and motorbike storage was unreal. I'm sure it's not cheap but when you walk into a room full of Ferrari's, you can't help but say "Wow" and strike up a conversation. The most popular reply was that the income from rent, paid for the building they were stored in, the running costs and then some which allowed the very comfortable looking life and multiple high end cars on their driveway.
I'm sure you've got way more important things to look at but when you get around to looking at what to actually do with it, see what you think of that. With that kind of space, the numbers on how many cars (Approx 40) vs rent paid to you get silly.
Maybe there's a deal to be had whereby you rent the space out to someone else who does all that and you just get paid an appropriate rent for offering that space / building etc. to a specialist operation, maybe one that's already going and always looking for discreet, secure long term storage. The classic 'Aston Martin' and 'Jaguar' owners are the one's who seem to favour smaller more discreet locations like that. Also the stupidly old vintage stuff proves difficult to store for a lot of people and that's a massive market in the UK. One leaflet / flyer run around around the classic car show would reach a massive target audience. (Is that show in Stoke? It's been years but i'm sure it used to be there in a massive equine showground).
It would take a ton of work and conversion costs but if it's lucrative maybe that's part of the process. I'm sure there's loads of really important points i will have overlooked but still, if even part of the idea sparks something in the future it was worth mentioning.
All the best, it looks like another planet to the one i know !
We knew it was there, just hadn't managed to get a look inside it previously.
TBH, we were more interested in what was in the house itself, and the barn/outbuildings that are next to the house. Looking into an old chicken shed was a lower priority, but we thought we ought to take a look given that we'd committed to buying it!
That's certainly an idea that I hadn't had @alnico.
Hope it all goes well.
All seems pretty good.
Apart from the blocked cesspit.
And the leaking oil tank.
And the damp.
And the deathwatch beetle.
And the rotting bottom of some timber posts.
And the floor that has to be relaid.
And the chimneys that need lining before they can be used.
And the thatch that's about 10 years past its sell-by date.
And the asbestos roofing of the chicken shed. 75m of asbestos roofing.
And the concrete rendering that's been used to "repair" some parts which will have stopped the house breathing. (Houses of this vintage that can't breathe are about as healthy as humans of your age that can't breathe).
Though, to be fair, we expected most of that.

I've got "finger-in-the-air" estimates, but fully expect that the versions that come on headed paper will be higher ...
And in other news ...
Bearing in mind that the main reason we started this process was because Mrs TT needed some land. One thing led to another, and we ended up with this being the preferred option for various reasons other than the land aspect. I had a call today from someone in the village offering her a paddock that would just about meet the original requirement ... that was after we'd asked, asked again, and asked a final time!!
