The package has been released by customs in Russia - Donald Trump is adamant that there will be no interference from Putin.

Hmmmm - there has been a confusing development.

The tracking now says that having cleared customs it's now at the delivery depot and is prepared for delivery.

No problem with that but the location says Coventry Depot, which is quite a way from St Petersburg.

I have a feeling it's going to turn up back here on Monday.

Having had Parcelforce return a Yamaha bass to Tokyo when they shouldn't have I wouldn't be that surprised, but fingers crossed !

I had a parcel do that once, in reverse anyway. The courier got confused by the word "sender" and bounced it back to the sender from the delivery depot near me. Doh.

I had that once.

Sent a big and heavy pedal by recorded delivery and they delivered it to me.

I got my fee back, but it was still annoying.

Update:  Parcelforce attempted to give it back and I told him I didn't want it.

It didn't look like it had been opened and all the labels with the delivery address on were correct, it appears to have reached Russia and been returned from there, but no explanation as to why.

He was quite happy to take it away and try to ship it again so off it has gone.
