If I were your mother-in-law (which would be challenging from a gender, DNA and age perspective) then I would visit often. At least we could crank up the wattage and have some great jams though...

You need to do some scouting, there's loads of fog of war still around on your mini-map. There might be some resources you don't know about jsut outside your front door!

They left a lot of it as wildflower meadow, so the tracks you see are just the pathways that they mowed to get to different parts of the "garden".

It's going to take a bit of maintenance, so in some ways it's good to have moved now rather than spring.  Gives us a few months to get the house straight-ish.

Yes.  I think I have it sussed now.  Even though I've got zero bars mobile signal on my phone, I can pick up a decent 3G signal - good enough for ~30mbps, using a specialist (and all legal) antenna, and EE have a 64Gb/mth contract for £30.50.

@mellowsun - it's in Norfolk, and a part of Norfolk blissfully uninfected by the Chelsea tractor brigade, so costs about the same as your average London 2-up, 2-down in zone 4.
