I have discovered The Cramps and can't stop listening to them.

The Cramps are/were awesome (RIP Lux)

Check out 'Live at Napa State Mental Hospital' for the most rock n roll rock n roll gig in the history of rock n roll.

  • Today I 'ave been mostly listenin' to Radiodread - the Easy Star All Stars cover of OK Computer. It's a fantastic tribute and works really well. Let Down featuring Toots and the Maytals is a real highlight.

I like that album but not as much as I love Dub Side of the Moon. I saw them live at a small venue in the 2000s and they were superb.

The joke had worn a bit thin by Lonely Hearts Dub Band.

Last weekend I had a good listen to Dub Side of the Moon and really enjoyed it. Didn't realise they had done a Sgt Pepper cover too. Am not a big fan of Sgt Pepper but I love Dark Side and OK Computer so these covers were a real hit for me.

    Excellent album.
I bought it the day it was released in the UK from the small Our Price Records on TCR London on yellow vinyl.

  • Bit more telly related, this was on tonight - originally broadcast the same week I saw Thin Lizzy at Stafford Bingley Hall and this was ( to the best of my memory) part of their set. Apologies that whoever posted this on YT didn’t edit out the last few seconds :astonished:

Yes, shame about that last few seconds.... going back to the band, although the idea sounds great in principle, the actual song is a pretty dreary plod.

I was watching a bit of a Christmas TOTP and within the context of that it seemed pretty good ( although The Darkness were better) - certainly better than Hokey Cokey by The Snowmen.
I’m fairly certain Gary Moore was in Lizzy at that time but obviously thought better of The Greedies ( although he must have played the song live with the band).
