    Bill Bruford. The tracks he appears on for Yes and King Crimson wouldn't be half as good without him. Technically perfect but never flash.

    Plus one on Phil Collins too. I don't like him as a vocalist or solo artist but there's no doubt he's a seriously good drummer.

    Have a "wow". I especially like the parts where she leaves a pregnant pause in places other drummers would just razz off into an unnecessary fill.

    Lars gets do much stick and yet is the drummer in the biggest selling heavy metal band of all time. If he were not the drummer they would be a short footnote about obscure 80s metal bands.
