Been uploading old tracks I recorded ages ago and hopefully some new noodles here.

"Take these three items, some WD-40, a vise grip, and a roll of duct tape. Any man worth his salt can fix almost any problem with this stuff alone." - Walt Kowalski
"Only two things are infinite - the universe, and human stupidity. And I'm not sure about the universe." - Albert Einstein
The plan...
EMG loaded Les Paul
Boss SD-1 Waza Craft
Boss CE-2 Chorus
Amp
Terrible Zakk Wylde impressions on the way!

(It also sounded great as an ultra-portable bass cab with a 150W head, but that's a different story!)

That sounds like a great setup! Congratulations! I'm pretty much going the same way with the SD-1W, I think. Got the chorus already - an EMG loaded Les Paul...hmmm, now I'm thinking!

The cab is only £170 so it won't hurt too much if I decide to change the speakers in it.
I believe Mr Wylde uses 200W EV speakers in his Marshall cabs but I don't know the exact model.
If it's close enough, but also cleans up a bit that will do for me.
Still tempted by Celection G12-65 purely because they were on Metallica's "Ride the Lightning" - that's my favourite recorded distortion tone.

It was an original run with the passize EMG HZ pickups but swapped them for 81/85
It has a fantastic neck shape that I dont think has been available on any other model apart from the custom shop Gibson Zakk models.
It's blummin' heavy but it plays and sounds great.

After some digging, found that the amp in question sounded very Plexi like and found out that's what the guy was going for when he designed it. So plugged in and put a Bogner cab (4x12 Greenbacks G12M25) on the Two Notes CAB M and found an old recording of the Kemper and dialled in my new amp to sound almost identical. Obviously the real amp cuts a lot better and sounds (cough) better too. I prefer it to my old recordings of that /13.
Proper chuffed. Anyway, enough boring you, I'll leave you to enjoy your father's day.
