I did consider leaving it as a top loader, but i think stringing through the body improves the feel and tuning stability.

New house with workshop potential, or will you be back working on the dining room table?
It has a decent sized summer house I will keep for large power tools and messy work. I have a spare bedroom which will be an indoor workshop for fretting,a glueing, assembly etc. The loft is all boarded out, insulated and easily accessible for wood storage. And yes, there will undoubtedly be a dining room table covered in projects
I may add a second outbuilding for spray work further down the line.
My most prolific period was when I had a spare bedroom as a workshop. It just made it so easy to pop in for a few minutes and get small jobs done.

I asked off the logo, not on the back though so it has lost its serial number.... Must be stolen
Almost looks like a proper fender decal
after fretwork. very little was needed on the levelling, just 3 slightly high frets... i have seen a lot worse on expensive guitars.
