Anyone fancy a Posca Pen, decorate an instrument challenge?

What's Hot
Ive got a scruffy Tele Body neck and hardware and fancy doing something to brighten up these dark, uncertain days, so Im going to decorate the thing with Posca Paint Pens, just for the hell of it!
Anybody fancy joining in?
Just for fun, many of us are stuck indoors and I bet many have an old unloved instrument gathering dust under the bed, or similar......

I’m hoping my posca pens turn up in missus Munckee’s relentless house de cluttering!

I got my daughter to spray paint and decorate my looper pedal to keep her amused, she had to use sharpies.

I actually just ordered two cheap uke kits to give the kids something to decorate.

I've got a Harley Benton folk acoustic that lasted all of 6 months before warping beyond playability, we had spoken of spraying it in white primer and letting my daughter loose with sharpies on it, never got round to it, but this could be something she'd enjoy now she's 19 and fairly good with the arty stuff

I’ve never heard of Posca Paint pens.

    Have I missed something??
Having trouble posting images here?  This might help.

Nor had I until a few days ago when @DrBob took ownership of an old Yam Pacifica body I had kicking around, for one of his nippers to decorate with Posca Pens, so I had a Google and thought I’d give it a go...

With the caveat that the artistic musings will be from the hands of Ricci 2.0 & 2.1

Can you just go straight on to a finish or bare wood? Any finishing coat needed?

  • I'd give it a go but I'm shite at drawing.
Just so people are aware. I have no idea what any of these words mean.

I’ve got a bare wood Strat I’m soooo fed up with so this sounds good. For the past week I’ve been looking for ‘something’ for my 4 year old to decorate it with.

I have one POSCA brush pen, ink colour white. Perhaps, I should attempt a polar landscape?
You say, atom bomb. I say, tin of corned beef.

Right, resurrection time, I’m finally about to start this. Need to primer the bodies first. It will have to be rattle can white. Any suggestions ?

Missus munckee's unofficial entry as she didn't know about the contest and she did it a while ago, and not technically an instrument!

I thought I'd never heard of these but after googling I remember I bought my niece some for Christmas!
The results here look good. Those pedals look proper tidy.
