Cheers @Creed_Clicks - I was on a roll for a short space of time. Looking back it was all about sticking at it, and possibly being quite pissed off at just about everything. I keep on meaning to knuckle down again but just skimming the surface of song ideas at the moment... Hope your tunes work out.

This thread surfacing again has made me think I've maybe got enough demos now to turn this stuff in to an album. Need to get stuck in and finish this project off!

So that Friday evening jam become this 6 week lockdown project. I don't think I ever nailed the vibe of the first time I played it, which is often the way, but it will do for the moment. I've listened to it enough - will come back to it in a few times when I'll have a more critical ear.

I might have asked before but what drum programme are you using? Are you playing each hit or copying in grooves. Drums sound really good.

I use EZDrummer 2.- sometimes start with midi loops then edit to fit the tune, Sometimes start with what I hear in my head. There's a mixture of both in this recording. It's a bit like colouring in really;)

I should've also said I use the post-rock extension thing which has some really good kits for this sort of thing
