I did have a couple of Tone Masters (Deluxe Reverb and Princeton) and a Blackstar St James before this, so I’d forgotten what a full fat valve amp weighed!
Bad Cat Cub III 15R Combo 20kg ish
I don't take both!
It would be nice to have a gig I could take the HiWatt to but a DR103 plus matching cab weighs as much as a small planet.
Gone are the days when I could comfortably(sic) move a 4x12 on my own.
I've been rethinking how I move forward.
If I stay with Blackstar then St James 6L6? Amped 3?
The new Line 6 Catalyst CX 100 might work.
Helix + FRFR, maybe the new Fender ones.
Spark Live looks ideal but I wonder how buggy it will be cos I hate using the app on my Spark 40.
16.7 kg.
That’s 2 cabs and a head.
Modern tech is amazing.

As for "when am I ready?" You'll never be ready. It works in reverse, you become ready by doing it. - pmbomb
Seriously thinking of going over to TC Electonic Jims 45 Straight into the PA, but then I’d have to take a full PA to rehearsal!
