Custom Chibson Experience (Internals vid added)

So mine finally arrived. It took a while (but no customs charge). It's my take on the Chris Cornell 335. The pics dont show the colour correct, in the flesh it's Drab Olive Green:

and a rear shot. This one also have a personalised serial number which is my initials and dob. I also got them to add the rear access panel. 

Overall for £193 delivered with a case it's not bad. I got mine from a different source than @guitargeek62. Mine is from a seller on Aliexpress whom I have dealt with before. The pickups are weird and one of the volumes pots doesn't work but I already have replacements for the wiring and pickups. The tuners seems really good, the paint work is really good. I haven't had much chance to play it as yet but first impressions are good.

If it's anything like mine, then it's a recessed ledge routed into the back itself. My one was a little messy but I tidied it up easily enough, it only took 10-15 minutes with a scalpel. I'd be tempted to add a couple of bits of timber behind the screws to bulk up those areas, but I don't think it's really necessary and this method of construction has worked on the Gibson Lucille's for about 30 years now without much trouble.

In a similar fashion to @funstuie, mine's going a little Cornell-esque next week and will be getting some 'trons next week from Mojo Pickups.

Yeah the recessed ledge on mine is a mess but as you say it will take 10 minutes to sort.
