Seen the new PRS ad?

I've sold, played and owned many PRS Guitars - I've been a supporter for many years but this is a low point, based on initial aesthetic appeal and the 7.25 radius - therefore it would have to blow me away to get me interested regarding feel and tonal character - It is neither a Strat or a PRS - At least the 305, NF3 and DC3 retained a PRS identity with a Strat tonal character - this is pants IMO

You're missing the point. The guitar walls of dental professionals everywhere have been crying out for a fret board that will catch the light from their display cabinets from multiple angles. It's not like they're ever going to play it!

I have two responses...

1. They have been trying to build an improved Les Paul for years so why not a Strat?

2. It's very silly, for two grand I could probably get a really nice old Strat with serious mojo

No, it's a Strat with a really ugly out-of-place headstock, an ugly graceless body shape, an ugly out-of-place cutaway bevel, ugly out-of-place fingerboard inlays, an ugly squared-off fingerboard end, and an ugly jack plate that looks like it came off an East German Strat copy.

Spectacularly ugly. And I like Strats........... Does the body shape not seem a little weird? ANd the headstock just doesn't work at all for me.
