One of the loveliest things in my life is when I lie on the sofa and Pugsley comes up for a cuddle.  He burrows himself along my side, between the sofa back and my left hip & leg.  When he's comfy he lets out a big sigh and he is in the perfect position for me to tickle his back and smooth his little head while he nods off and starts to snore.  Utter bliss for me.  I do adore him

Ive had a real bad tooth ache in my back tooth for days now, cant sleep, grumpy, doing my head in. Then , today, life decided to throw some very painfull arse grapes at me just for good measure, I cant take time off work because I wont get paid if I do, they say shit5 happens in threes, so one more shitty thing and I'm all done with shitty things happening to me, so that's a bonus.

My second Microsoft wireless mouse had developed the same problem as the first... the rubber grip tyre which goes around the scroll wheel becomes loose and useless, falling apart and leaving debris in the mouse and icky crap on your scrolling finger. 
I've just fixed it by taking it apart and replacing the crappy tyre with an O-ring washer super-glued into place.  Added a smear of silicone grease to the wheel mechanism while I was in there and I have a super mouse!  Somehow it's all made me far happier than it really should!

In my battle with Crohn's disease, I saw my specialist today, and she has put me on 18 month check ups. This is the longest I've been between check ups.

^ Agreed. I love this thread, and I like to dredge it up every now and then to keep it going.

So, natural light. My new room has the same amount of it with the blinds closed as my old room did with them open. I love it.

I helped out a charity last week- in fact I did this each year. We raised £264,000 on the day of champions. This goes to help run healthcare programmes in Africa

A small thing, but today I caught the biggest perch of the season so far for myself.

It's not much, but it picks me up.

A bigger thing - having had some weeks off work with severe depression and anxiety problems, I feel ready to get back to work next week.

The biggest thing - nan has declined rather rapidly recently and is now being nursed in bed 24/7 by us. The NHS, and the continual free end of life care we have received, has been utterly amazing and incredible. Not without some hitches, and there are some waits, but we went from being desperately in need of help to getting loads of equipment and a nurse visit every day in about 3 days.

Just amazing.
