A stone roses fan. Would you like it with the elephant stone design or the adored design that he used on TOTP? I think the model was a hofner T4S which is quite rare.

First dibs on Slash's "Les Paul" probably the most influential and probably valuable "modern day" guitar you could get.

A close call that, but I'd go for Scott's Deluxe. Takes me back to Brum Town Hall 1975, first time I saw Lizzy, been a fan ever since

Hmm.  A Beatle Casino, or a Roger McGuinn 12-string Rickenbacker, or maybe an Abraxas-era Santana SG.

And possibly the Steve Marriott Epiphone shown somewhere above - very tasty!

Probably the most expensive one - as I’d sell it.

I’m just not into that kind of thing and wouldn’t do a ‘special’ guitar justice.

If I must choose one that means something it would be Weller’s Whaam Ric. But I’d still probably sell it!

Ed Wynne's Ibanez AR2700. - I've had some great times watching this in action. Sadly, it fell apart and is/was hanging on his studio wall.

Bloody hell, ozric fans at the fretboard, Ed certainly is a genius.
I think that it"s the first time that I have seen Edd or Ozric Tentacles mentioned on the board since I have been a member.
I wondered if anyone rated him as I certainly do as a spacey spaced out sort of style player.

On topic, Gary Moore"s greeny or Rory Gallagher"s strat.
Special mention for Tony Bourge"s, ex Budgie & Tredegar, Gibson SG.

Springsteen’s esquire. He’s worn it out, but the sound he gets out of that in the ‘78 live shows through a tweed Bassman is perfect and he’s never sounded as good since. I’d never come close to the emotion and passion of his playing, but the guitar was important enough to him to be on album covers

Actually having had a chance to think about it, Nels Cline’s Watt Jazzmaster or his red Jazzmaster.

    or

    Robbie McIntosh’s blackguard Esquire

    or

Graham Coxon’s original Squier Tele - the black one with EMGs that he used for the Starshaped Tour.
    Never Ever Bloody Anything Ever.

Another vote for Brian May’s Red Special - truly one of a kind.  Failing that, Pagey’s doubleneck SG for sheer posing power.
