    None.
If I were to visit Carter's Vintage Guitars, or Gruhn's Guitars, with funds available, I would be looking for the best playing guitar.

The previous owners do count, but not their fame.  There is no need for us to fall out about the meaning and use of terms like "Mojo". I believe that if the guitar has been regularly played by a sh*t hot highly accomplished  player (In Nashville) -  a player that you have never heard of -  then the guitar will be a better guitar as a result.

Happy to confirm that's a really really fun day out. Sadly can also confirm you need pretty chunky funds to make it work. I'm still a bit sad I didn't buy a 54 LP Custom reissue in Carter's.

    Kossof’s Les Paul

I've been listening to a fair bit of Free lately (not for the first time either, I seem to go through phases). It was bugging me yesterday too and I always get mixed up with this story... but what happened to Kossoff's Les Paul, someone famous owns it now don't they? I always get confused if it's "The Beast" or not.
No ‘The Beast’ is alleged in some circles to be Clapton’s ‘Beano’.

Koss had a few Les Pauls, he swapped a black custom for a Burst with Clapton, there’s the stripped ‘IOW’ guitar in the link shared already and then there’s the Burst that was bought/swapped/given (can never remember which) by Arthur Ramm of Beckett in the 70’s and the guitar Gibson based the Kossoff Collectors Choice on. He’s just recently sold that to a collector in the US.

    The Beast is a 59.

By all accounts, Clapton's Beano was most likely a 1960.  There was a comment Clapton made somewhere along the line about it having slim neck.

The Guitar Magazine had an article about the Beast as well:

    https://www.theguitarmagazine.com/interviews/bernie-marsden-interview/

That suggests it was ex-Clapton but not the Bluesbreaker guitar.  Here's a quote from it:

‘It was December 2012, at the Classic Rock Awards, when I again saw Mart Henderson. And he finally explained. He said he bought The Beast from Andy Fraser of Free. And that Andy had bought it from Paul Kossoff. And Paul Kossoff had got it from Eric Clapton… so there you go, that’s the apparent connection.’

    David Gilmour's Black Strat

For such an iconic guitar, the black strat is a rough old dog that's been hacked up and put back together a thousand times. I'd much prefer Gilmour's burst tele or one of Syd's mirrored ones.

Ed Wynne's Ibanez AR2700. - I've had some great times watching this in action. Sadly, it fell apart and is/was hanging on his studio wall.

Bloody hell, ozric fans at the fretboard, Ed certainly is a genius.
I think that it"s the first time that I have seen Edd or Ozric Tentacles mentioned on the board since I have been a member.
I wondered if anyone rated him as I certainly do as a spacey spaced out sort of style player.
Another Ozrics fan here, superb, Kick Muck is a bit of a youth anthem for me, great guitarist.

Guitar for me though would be Robby Kreiger's SG

A close call that, but I'd go for Scott's Deluxe. Takes me back to Brum Town Hall 1975, first time I saw Lizzy, been a fan ever since
I could live with that one, too, seeing as Scott G was my favourite out of the two :)
Yup he was my fave too. Loved Robbo's aggression but Scotts melodic approach I really loved

Yes, the one with the handle, I’d go for that
