    Carry on up the Khyber.

A compelling and poignant account of British imperial ambitions in what is modern day Pakistan.

Told through the ordinary and mundane lives of Indians, Afghans and British soldiers it explores the complex history of this strategically important part of the world.

The Insider. Fantastic story of the collision between big tobacco and corporate takeover of CBS and the whistleblower hung out to dry.

Masterfully crafted by Michael Mann and played by Pacino, Crowe and Plummer.

Back to my original post - Everyone who hasn't seen it should watch Hacksaw Ridge, a true story of the most unbelievable bravery. Incredible.

Fassbender is excellent in that, horrible like but really great performance, disappears into the role. Contrast it to Brad Pitt who only ever plays Brad Pitt.

Watched Icarus this week about cycling doping and the Russian state sponsored doping scandal.  Not sure what to say, it’s hilarious but seriously freaky and worrying at the same time .

DocuDrama, my friend.  Its a different thing.   It has actors and lovies and therefore cant be a true documentary like say Spinal Tap.
