    The imitation game for me.

Oh, and Into the wild. That's a corker.

the Imitation game was an OK film but it was very much an over simplified version of events
Yeah, I think everyone accepts that. I enjoyed it more than I should have done though. Cumberbatch is a fantastic actor imo, it's probably what nailed it for me. Interesting @ICBM I'm  only an hour away and keep meaning to go!

@Deadman - if you do, there are two museums on the old Bletchley Park site, the Bletchley Park museum itself and the National Museum Of Computing - bizarrely, they don't appear to be on speaking terms with each other! We had actually intended to go to 'Bletchley Park' not knowing this, and ended up at the 'wrong' museum - TNMOC - but which turned out to be far more interesting if you're a technology geek rather than a history one, it covers computers right from the Turing period in WWII right up to much more modern stuff.

"Take these three items, some WD-40, a vise grip, and a roll of duct tape. Any man worth his salt can fix almost any problem with this stuff alone." - Walt Kowalski

"Only two things are infinite - the universe, and human stupidity. And I'm not sure about the universe." - Albert Einstein

    In no particular order:

    The Upside
    The Green Book
The Fundamentals of Caring (not sure if this is a true story film, but it could be)
    Official Secrets
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid
    Alien
    Erin Brockovich

There is no 'H' in Aych, you know that don't you? ~ Wife

Turns out there is an H in Haych! ~ Sporky

    Bit of trading feedback here.

As a lifelong Alan Turing fan I thought the film was painful! I hate it when history isn't 'good enough' and filmmakers have to embellish stories with Hollywoodisms.
