Don't get too hung up on the reactions. I could post a picture of my cheap Hondo strat, which everyone who owns anything more exotic than an Encore will probably laugh at. But it plays quite nicely (honest), and was my first guitar. So what anyone else thinks is not particularly relevant.

I really liked that!

It was great when I played it at a psychedelic themed gig. But we're clearly in the minority!

Its quite gut wrenching when guitars I have recently sold get more wows than those I decided to keep

Pop over to mine. £20 buys you a Tuffsaws blade that'll go through a lot of guitars. Really a lot.
