Google reveals nothing about extractor fans which contain a battery.

What a freaking nightmare for you.
You may need to take someone else in the loft with you to ponder the direction of the sound.
Like others....I am thinking old smoke detector (or device to deter mice)  that has fallen under the loft insulation. Somewhere above the ceiling fan.
Or an old Carbon Monoxide detector.
I have a neighbour with the Boiler in the loft. Yes, I said Boiler.

I've ruled out smoke detectors....those that i can see anyway.

Could it be a draft making the fan turn, and it has a squeaky bearing?

It's every 32 seconds without fail. Surely can't be something nature related

    Right, 7 pages is enough!

Get in there with screwdrivers, axes, chisel and miscellaneous power tools, FFS find out what it is!

Take the bloody ceiling fan out for a start. ;)

Done. It's not the fan. Ive removed the casing but there is nothing in tgere like a battery. Fuse is off. Chirp fucking chirp. I've just disconnected and reset smoke alarms again. They are disconnected and batteryless. Chirp Fucking chirp.

Must be in the cunting attic.

There’s no doubt about it - this has to be a low battery warning of some sort - can’t see how it could be anything else.

The question is, where is it hiding?

And when it finally reveals itself - I wonder if any of us can resist replicating it when we next move!

My boiler is in the attic. Put it there to give me more space in the kitchen.

Give it a couple of years, surely the battery would have ran out by then and you'll be free to continue your life.

Attic for sure. Tomorrow I'm taking up the insulation and having a look. Fucking hate our builders.
