Like others....I am thinking old smoke detector (or device to deter mice)  that has fallen under the loft insulation. Somewhere above the ceiling fan.

Or an old Carbon Monoxide detector.

I have a neighbour with the Boiler in the loft. Yes, I said Boiler.

I've ruled out smoke detectors....those that i can see anyway.

Done. It's not the fan. Ive removed the casing but there is nothing in tgere like a battery. Fuse is off. Chirp fucking chirp. I've just disconnected and reset smoke alarms again. They are disconnected and batteryless. Chirp Fucking chirp. 

Must be in the cunting attic.

There’s no doubt about it - this has to be a low battery warning of some sort - can’t see how it could be anything else. 

The question is, where is it hiding?
