I would....but... It's stopped. Who knows when it will start again. The tension is unbearable. I won't be able to sleep. And then when it starts....i wont be able to sleep.

My dad had a similar problem a couple of years ago, although that might have been a CO2 detector. He tried breaking it with a hammer (unsuccesfully) and resorted to leaving it in a bucket of water in the garden for a couple of days before it finally died.

I just googled... 32 seconds seems a spurious time interval so I wasn’t really surprised something came up.

Well that was a bit of an anti-climax.
